Dynamic duo, Drea G and Tasha The Black Rogue joined forces in 2018, after both being based in New York for several years. Both ladies coming from creative backgrounds in Public Relations and Marketing, the belles quickly realized the need to share their unique stories and journeys as southern women thriving in New York City.
From this, G.R.I.T.S. and the City Podcast was formed, and a collective for southerners in the city was birthed. Our mission: create a multi sensory platform that focuses on content creation, event production, and merchandise that gives voice to our unique perspectives on city living and our Southern roots.
